Chère Père Noël,
Comment vas-tu?
Hi, Santa! I'm learning French, sort of.
Wouaf! Wouaf!
Am I on your nice list? I hope so, even though this year I chewed up half a flip-flop and most of a tennis shoe.
I always help clean dinner dishes and give my sisters loving kisses, and at the store I greet everyone with a happy hello!
Can I have a new ball for Christmas?
Now, here's Samantha to sing you a song.....
Santa baby, just slip a new sweater under the tree for me;
Been an awful good girl, Santa baby,
So hurry down the chimney tonight.
Been an angel all year; Santa baby,
So hurry down the chimney tonight.
Santa cutie, and fill my stocking with potato chips;
And hurry down the chimney tonight.
Hurry down the chimney tonight.
Hurry, tonight!
Santa, wasn't that great? Wow! When Samantha sings she sounds like Elaine Stritch with a little Ethel Merman tossed in!
And Bailey has been a good girl, too. With no muss or fuss, she takes her daily pills, and she especially likes them when they are wrapped in roast beef!
She would like a new snuggly-wuggly for Christmas.
Well, it's been nice writing to you, but now it's time to chase the squirrels!
And, Santa, Merry Christmas!
Love,
Max
Samantha
