Max sure was a yankee doodle dandy!

He and Sweet Samantha and Bouffant Bailey organized an impromptou Fourth of July parade with their friends; Samantha led the parade, of course, and even the squirrels in the neighborhood were allowed to participate.

They had games in the afternoon (Bailey's favorite was hide-the-cone-of-silence), and a barbecue (a certain Black Lab who shall remain nameless ate up all the sour-cream-and-onion potato chips).

In the evening there were fireworks, and you should have seen what fun Max had with the Roman Candles!
