Free Wine Tasting - Saturday, May 27, 2017 (6-8pm)
Tasting Selections:
Produced in the Andalucía region of Southern Spain, Wine of Fire uses the juiciest Airen grapes in its production.
Using a combination of chilled and bottle fermentations in the production process it ensures that Wine of Fire has a delicate feel in the mouth and a crisp texture.
The unique visual effect of Wine of Fire is achieved by the addition of a secret mix of tasteless sulfites and crystallised fruit juices.
With primary aromas including citrus and vanilla the low tannin level and acidity ensure a pleasing body and smooth finish.
With its crisp and fruity taste, Wine of Fire is easy to drink whether socially or as a food pairing. It is a perfect accompaniment to fish, chicken, pasta or cheese dishes and compliments deserts and cheeseboards.

Nothing quenches the thirst on a hot, muggy day better than cool, refreshing Vinho Verde. New to our palates is this delicious rendition from Gateway. A blend of indigenous Trajadura, Loureiro, Arinto and Azal hailing from Vinho Verde’s Amarante sub-region, Gateway’s Vinho Verde casts a pale lemon-gold color from the glass, highlighted by glints of green. Fresh and inviting on the nose, the wine presents crisp lemon-lime fruit complemented by suggestions of green apple, acacia and wintergreen.
Crisp on the palate, the wine’s sweet apple and green melon fruit is countered by brisk citric acidity and complemented by suggestions of white flowers. The Vinho Verde finishes clean and refreshing, begging you to take another bite of grilled octopus, steamed mussels and clams, white-fleshed fish recipes and light pork and poultry preparations. Whether for pairing with seafood dishes or just for enjoying by itself, Vinho Verde is the value play in summertime white wine.
