We hope everyone had a nice and relaxing Memorial Day Weekend honoring our country's heroes. We are starting to get back into some of our normal groove and had a delightful wine tasting last Saturday with so many of our regulars returning for some weekend wine, fun and finally catching up with everyone. A special thanks to all the new folks who also came out whether it was for our regular tasting event or attending one of the Moonlight Movies Wine Watch Parties.

If you haven't had a chance to swing by, do pop in for one of our upcoming events. We also have plans to expand our wine tasting oasis tents to double the size so we can accommodate more guests comfortably.

Important Product Update

You may have noticed recently that some products are getting harder to find and most all products are going up in price. We have been notified by Michel Design Works that they have been absorbing several price increases due to ongoing supply chain, raw materials and freight constantly going up in part due to effects of the current pandemic. Michel Design Works is forced now to raise prices effective June 1st. We will be in the process to raising pricing at Michel Design Works request, but don't worry, if you hurry in you will still be able to catch the lower prices.

Habersham Candle Company

We just found out this week from the parent company of Habersham Candle Company made (right here in Georgia) has announced they are ceasing production as of June 1st. The internal and external COVID environment has affected their ability to manufacture and produce products. They noted that their ability to procure raw materials, domestic shipping and ocean freight increases and the availability of manufacturing labor is preventing them from continuing  to produce their unique handmade line of fragrance goods. 

We have partnered with Habersham Candle Company for years and we hate to see them suspend their operations. We love to support local businesses when at all possible. If you are familiar with their items, we will try to keep them in the store as long as their current supply will allow.

 Fun Happenings This Weekend

There Is So Much Happening Weekends at The Gifted Ferret!

There will be between 4 - 6 different wines available during the movie. You will receive 3 tickets which you will use to redeem your glasses of wine which you personally select yourself. Additional tastes may be purchased for $5 a glass. No wine will be served 20 minutes prior to the end of the movie. Also, all guests are welcome to a complimentary bag of popcorn.

Be sure to bring your lawn chairs and sit back, relax and enjoy a whole new way of Outdoor Wine Tasting! In case of rain or inclement weather, the event will be moved to an outdoor tent or inside the shop determined by the weather threat level.

The store will remain open for 20 minutes after the completion of the movie if you would like to make a purchase or pick up additional wine for home.

Artisan Wine Tasting Oasis

Tasting Information:

Wine selections are pre-determined and normally published to our website prior to the event when time permits. The number of wines tasted this week will be 6 different wines in palette order. Additional tastes may be purchased for $5 a glass.

Wine Tastings are a great way to expand your palate, find new wines that you have never experienced before and meet great new friends that share your same passion for wine.

Our Wines are all artisan / boutique wines and simply put means non-mass produced wines. Our winemakers are in it for the love, passion and art of wine making and often have passed their wineries down in their families from generation to generation. These wines will not be found in any grocery or package stores and the quality comes shining through, which is another great reason to attend a wine tasting.

Bring your friends for a fun and relaxing evening and taste the latest additions to our wine portfolio. Reservations are requested and cover is required.
